Colonel

I have been looking at how many posts people have posted and some of them have hundreds and even thousands!
Why?
P.S: Who has got the most anyway?

View Full Version : Do people spend their life on this forum?! Colonel 11-06-2005, 08:29 I have been looking at how many posts people have posted and some of them have hundreds and even thousands! Why? P.S: Who has got the most anyway? No, I just have a lot of spare time, and divide it be beween this and DS. Why? P.S: Who has got the most anyway? If you carry on posting at the rate you're going now, you'll be into thousands within a year or so too. PS. Strix probably - she could post for England. Strix 11-06-2005, 10:50 *removes crown and polishes with sleeve* ;) foxy027 11-06-2005, 11:55 I spend about on average half an hour a week on here looking at whats being talked about and posting my own comments... AJ sheffield 11-06-2005, 13:13 I think some peoples lives probably do revolve around the forum, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see who they are. Others spend vast amounts of time on here simply taking pleasure out of stirring up threads and antagonising posters, specially newbies. I have witnessed appalling treatment of new users by so-called respectable posters, treatment that has gone unpunished. Funny how these very same high volume posters also seem to have some built in protection as to what they can get away with as opposed to other users. As with most walks of life, its not what you know....its who you know. robbie 11-06-2005, 18:56 there must be a moderator party on tonight or something :D on topic. I generally browse here most days. Today I'm severely hung over and this is pretty much all I feel capable of. tulip 12-06-2005, 04:34 Originally posted by AJ sheffield I think some peoples lives probably do revolve around the forum, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see who they are. As with most walks of life, its not what you know....its who you know. you are so right, I've seen lots of threads which contain derogatory remarks about people and the places they live and even racism. certain people encourage this and I'm not mentioning any names but I think you will know who I mean;) LellyBee 12-06-2005, 06:53 I use the Forum to block other the telly, especially when other half's got Men & Motors, Comedy Channel and Live Poker on :( I suppose it's a form of escapism for me, reading the posts on here is definitely more interesting than watching re-runs of repeats of Top Gear  But I do have 11 other comm's and forums to escape to, so I suppose the answer should be yes, I spend my life on forums :D Robbie Loving 12-06-2005, 09:43 most of my posts will be kept to the sports forums, but occasionally i stray over here to see what action is happening. but as for highest posters..... well i think msbehavin in a few months will be up with the heady heights of strix strix with nearly 12posts per day :o Strix 12-06-2005, 12:07 If you take off the 16th March to 29th September in which I didn't post..... ;) SpiderPete 12-06-2005, 12:37 Yes I have noticed alot of people just like to see the post numbers next to their name, I do come on here often but I don`t post on every thread as some of them are just plain silly. Must say I find this is the right place to find out what is happening in Sheffield and the tech section is very helpfull, less bitching in there as well. And yes you are right AJ Sheffield - 100% agree. Strix 12-06-2005, 12:40 Originally posted by peter41 Yes I have noticed alot of people just like to see the post numbers next to their name, If I could turn it off I would. I quite like the Blockbuster re-runs - :suspect: :) Strix 12-06-2005, 13:27 Originally posted by t020 Getting what about what? Well.... Originally posted by t020 PS. You see unlike some people I don't care how big my post count is  Nor do I make a big thing about how long I've been posting on here... I'm not going to go looking for the other numerous times you've drawn my post count to my attention  AJ sheffield 12-06-2005, 13:36 You are indeed prolific (hmmmm) strix. I wish I had a quid for every post you made, I would be er.....over 5 grand better off. At this rate you will hit the 6000 mark by the end of next week  AJ sheffield 12-06-2005, 13:40 I personally dont think you have posted that many times, you would have no fingers left for starters, and you would have to be awake 24 hours a day. I think you have hired a few people to post for you whilst you sleep. You must have placed an ad...WANTED POST WRITERS. MUST BE ARGUMENTATIVE ;) t020 12-06-2005, 14:22 Originally posted by Strix Well.... This was addressed to you: I'm not going to go looking for the other numerous times you've drawn my post count to my attention   I was answering the question about who has the most posts. What's so bad about that? You have the highest amount don't you? I don't see what relevance Rich's comments have either - it's a well known fact that he would pick on anything to have a go at me and he seems to think I post a lot so I get to see a big number next to my username.
