View Full Version : Where can I get an A.S.B.O.?
My lad (13) has been tormenting me for an ASBO.
He says all his mates have one and he feels left out.
I dont know much about them really, are they like dog licences?.
I asked for one at our local post office, and the lady behind the counter ignored me and looked at me as if I was insane.
I phoned the main post office in Sheffield and they just hung up on me.
I cannot even find any on e-bay. I'm stumped please help.
PS how much are they? I feel reluctant to pay more than £160, same as his Shox trainers.
It's a kind of club that he can join, perhaps he is refering to a card that comes with it, a little like a driving licence with a mug shot. Shouldn't cost much and the local authorities are the suppliers. Try calling 2202020 and tell them he is harrasing you for one! Maybe they will give you one for free.

It's something criminal, I believe - tell him to start ruining the local area - that'll do it - :)
ASbos'r'Us do a good deal.
They're run from the Magistrate's Court.
:)
crowefan 11-06-2005, 09:15 just go down the moor
they will be flogging asbo's cheap with everything else...
Radio1 is currently trying to get an ASBO for one of their listeners/presenters whatever... on Scott Mills show I think!! maybe he could call if he's serious (er which I doubt!)
Don't knock A.S.B.Os, it's the only qualification some of our younger people can aspire to.
LordChaverly 11-06-2005, 09:36 Try the 99p shop. I think they have them complete with electronic tag (although I think you have to supply your own batteries)

LOL - how very true!
:)
I'm not too sure how it works but Firstly get him to do something really anti social which will hopefully get him in trouble with the cops, which in turn should get him hauled up in front of the courts.Either ask your solicitor to get the court to issue an ASBO or ask the judge/s directly yourselve's....
LordChaverly 11-06-2005, 12:22 I wonder how many posters have had forum ASBOs (i.e. have been banned, either temporarily or permanently)?
Pehaps posters like myself, who have never been banned or have never had a post removed because it infringed forum rules, ought to get a good conduct badge after a certain number of posts.
Now you know, LordC, that suggestions such as that should be addressed via 'contact us' :nono:

And you know that personal comments should be addressed via the pm button. :nono:
 Is that irony, Max?
Well perhaps - as none of this has anything to remotely do with the topic - the whole lot should be pulled? :D
To get an ASBO you have to be a Chav, and act anti-socially at all times...
It's not cool to have one though.
And no, I have never had one, I just know that they are not a thing to aspire to.
Zinger549 11-06-2005, 14:06 an Anti social Behaviour Order who wouldn't want one of those
Thank you all for your replies.
He should now get an ASBO shortly.
PS Does anyone know of any Glass fitting companies for all our neighbours and the local shops?
tinajones 12-06-2005, 19:51 Can't he make do with an AS/BO t-shirt? They are giving AC/DC a run for their money...

Zinger549 18-08-2005, 17:48 Try tesco they seen to do every thing else now. You could get one while you'r doing your food shopping. And if you go on tesco price check you can see how much they are in other supermarkets.
My landlord threatened to get an ASBO for me; they accused me of shouting at their staff who refused to give me paper so I could write instead of speak and knowing that I can not control my voice.
What else can I say except that when your son gets his ASBO perhaps he'd like to take over my tenancy agreement.
