Here are my first ever pictures on my A200 its the first time i have used a DSLR and have not ever used any SLR still getting my head around the settings as i dont want to shoot in auto all the time

the composition on the 3rd (or 2nd one!) is fantastic! I love those lines and angles...you've got a great eye for composition.

those canal mooring rings make interesting close up pictures
if you get a good shadow they can be realy good in b+w,

when i went onto the canals last week it was cold,but it wasn't frozen ;)

You are certainly off to a good start with the sony, composition is looking good, the a series are very easy to use and glad to read your getting it off auto as much as possible. Keep clicking and you will soon have it sussed. Best of luck!
