Hi. I have a lovely dressing gown from primark. Its very soft and fluffy to the touch, inside and out. There seems to be lots of nice nightwear and slippers made from it at the moment.
Heres the problem. I know its made from polyester, but I dont know what the style of fabric is called. Can anyone help me as I would like to buy some to make some luxurious bedding!
Thanks in advance. :)

is it a type of fleece?

or is it a woven type fabric?

could it be a type of flannelette?

polyester can be used to make all sorts of fabrics including jerseys, knitwear, fleeces and satins.

hope that makes sense- with out a bit more info it will be hard to pin it down though.

sounds like the fleecey type fabrics they make alot of stuff out of, but its not a fleece, not as woolly, but a similar sort of thing if I am thinking of the right fabric!

It looks like its knitted but its quite hard to tell because of the pile. Only thing I can think of to describe how it looks is really soft towellng.
