I had the most weirdest dream this morning, has anyone else had this before? Hope so, or it could be me needing to go to see a nutty doctor methinks.

I was lying on my front on top of the covers, eyes closed, and I could sense someone stood next to the bed, you know when your asleep and you can tell someone is next to you...

Anyway- I didnt open my eyes to see, so I just lay there, and next thing I knew I couldnt sense anyone next to the bed, but I heard a womans voice whisper a womans name into my ear over to my right shoulder. I cant remember the name she told me, but it was a really weird one.

The missus was lying next to me asleep at the time, and I remember opening one eye to see what was going on in the room, nothing there- but I could hear the sound of our TV in the living room downstairs and the light from our hallway was on.

So I opened both eyes and turned over to the missus, who was lying on her back, asleep and the TV sound and light faded away and I was awake.

Very weird...

I've had a couple of dreams like that where I can sense something next to the bed though.

Strange! . . . :o

You sure it was a dream - or do you live in a haunted house??

I think it was a dream- but as soon as I sat up in bed- the effects wore off- but I deffo know that it was a TV playing downstairs somewhere.

I dunno mate.. but it had my heart racing summat rotten.

The other times I have sensed something at the side of me in bed- Im sure it was a bloke stood there.. again I didnt open my eyes.

Our new house, has a lovely warm inviting atmosphere around it though so I dont think anything bad has ever happened here though, hopefully.

I have had a couple of experinces like this. You were probably still asleep, but part awake.

I am doing well if I don't have at least a couple of proper weird dreams every week.

Last night I witnessed a supernatural murder and was warned that if I ever told, I would be next.

I had to explain to someone who was present in the building the circumstances, and I received a warning visit from a stranger.

:suspect:

That is not half of it :(

we were looking at a piste map for chamonix before we went to sleep.
I woke up in the middle of a cool dream about snowboarding, stupid alarm.

Could you sense what was there?
And was it stood next to you?

EDIT:
Going off-topic slightly, but we have sorted the garden out at the new house, we have got a lot of plants and stuff we dont want there so we have removed everything that we didnt want apart from one plant in particular when I got a weird feeling telling me not to remove that particular one???

We've kept it in the garden since and have looked after it very well since then.

OK- now Im cracking up I reckon.

It's that twilight zone between deep and light sleep, unconciousness and conciousness. (Gosh, hold on, I'm sounding like I know something. Don't worry, I don't!)

If I've had a skinfull the night before, very often I dream of drinking gallons and gallons of fresh orange juice. Sometimes I wake up and realise that if I want a drink, I could go down and raid the fridge for said orange juice. Thing is, before I decide to do it, I'm back asleep again (and continuing my copious orange juice dream).

This morning part of a dream was about going for a, er, well, excuse me: a dump. In the dream I wasn't anywhere near a pan and cistern but I half-woke up enough to think all I had to do was trundle along the landing and use my own.

Which is what I did a couple of hours later having fallen back to sleep before I could be bothered (or should that be ar5ed) to get out of bed and go take a dump!!

Angellus you are not alone in this....

In my hotel the other night i was asleep, and then i woke up and just lay there with my eyes closed for a while...then i could hear someone snoring next to me, and i could sence someone else in the room...i assured myself this was not possible as the door was locked so didnt open my eyes....then i could swear someone grabbed me by the knee and started to shake me...naturally i panicked like hell thnking someone else had got into my room, but when i sat up...nothing....:suspect:

I do this as well!! - Its like your body is telling you, you need to go do something and you automatically react to it.

Its the same when Im ill as well- If I go to sleep and I feel like I need to be sick, my body will wake me up and let me know something is up.

Its cool!

My wife and I were sat in our living room the other day and I suddenly smelled some old lady's perfume. I mentioned this to my wife who agreed that she could smell it too!

Then it disappeared as quick as it arrived.

In a previous house, my wife kept getting the whiff of tobacco, like a pipe being smoked. But in this house, there's definitely a presence although not a threatening one. I reckon the previous occupant's wife died in the kitchen (that's where I sense her most. Sometimes I sense a movement in the kitchen when I'm sat in the lounge. We have glass panelled doors so I can see through into the kitchen).

When we bought the house, we knew that the guy we bought if from had lost his wife.

Hurry, anyone got Yvette Fielding's phone number? I can see Derek Acorah saying 'It's okay Sid, I can sense Mrs ******* is in the kitchen. Near the oven. Ah. In the oven.

'Oh look, here's some old baked pototoes'.

In our old house my mum would regularly wake up to find the room full of white smoke blinding her...she would jump up and wake up my dad and come out of their room to grab me and my sisster (both very young at this time)...but the smoke would dissapear in an instant.....we later found out that there had been a fire at the house before we had moved in...

Also my Gran is phsycic in the true sence of the word...she can hear dead people speak, and she can tell things that are going to happen in the future. She refues point blank to talk about it though because she sees it as a curse....

Whenever I come home late, I have to walk through a passageway to get around the back of the house to the kitchen door. I can guarantee that there is a prescence other than mine there every time.

The worst part about it is that it is pitch black in the passageway and around the back garden area. I have, on many occasions smelt cigarette smoke in the yard - late at night and yet no-one smokes.

There used to be an old bloke live in the house next door many years ago and he always smoked his pipe in the garden - I hope he doesn't still hang around at night!!

I hate having to look for the key when I reach the door so always have it at the ready as soon as I turn the corner. The weird thing is - once I step inside the house and close the door - the eerie feeling vanishes.

It happens again as I start walking up the steps and can feel a strong prescence either following me or watching me - there has been times when I've reached the top of the stairs and just as I open the bedroom door I have felt something swish past behind me!

Very frightening.

I keep getting a feeling like that in our new office.... i sit with my back to the filing cabinets, and the other side of them is the rest of our team...the amount of times i turn round fully expecting to see someone stood there is crazy...

I get it sometimes in our house too when im on my own...i cant sit at my PC with my bedroom door open (my back to the open door)...i keep having to turn round and see whos there...

Its cool! I have dreams like that, I think it's quite common. I sometimes sense a real person in the room and can see and hear everything they are doing and think I'm speaking to them when I'm actually asleep!
