Can anyone direct me to :

The Sheffield Natural Health Clinic
289 Abbeydale Road
S7

OK - I know where Abbeydale road is but it is a long road and I don't often travel down it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Landmarks I might recognise that may be close by?

TIA

This place is at Totley, keep going out of town, past Abbeydale hamlet, keep going past Dore Station, up a hill past a large animal hospital on the left, keep going and on you will see some shops on your right. The place is just after the shops, basically it looks like a large house, but it is well signposted.

If you reach Fleur de Lys and Cross Scythes Pubs you have gone past it.

good luck finding it

Well after some googling I found more of the post code - S7 1FJ....so..bunged it into multimap....

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=435000&Y=385000&width=500&height=300&client=public&gride=434826&gridn=385122&keepicon=false&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&left.x=5&left.y=12&scale=10000

It does appear to be not far from the Broadfield - near the old cinema by the looks of it.

thanks for trying

If nobody else replies, and you can wait until tomorrow for the info, then I'll keep an eye open for it as I cycle home tonight (I go all the way along Abbeydale Road).

Better make a note!

Cheers Zamo. Yes I can wait till tomorrow. I'm going on Wednesday evening and was planning trying to find it myself tomorrow. I will be a bit pushed to get there on Wednesday so can't afford to get lost.

Thanks

It has to be on your left hand side as you head from Highfields as that is the odd numbered side and as a guide no.381 is the Pizza Hut near the old Abbeydale picture palace so it is not quite as far as that, hope that helps.

Nomme, Michael is spot on. It is on the same side of the road as the picture palace but about 200 meters further in to town. It's not next to any "landmark" but it is still easy enough to spot.

That's great. Many thanks Zamo and everyone else.
I shall do a dry run later to check it out.

I'm going for an 'Indian Head Massage' - whatever one of them is!

cheers

Found it! Many thanks again.

It's opposite the church that my mate decided to climb after 'a few ales'.
Unfortunately, when he was near the top a rather large piece of masonary that he was holding on to decided to detach itself.
He fell about 30ft and the large piece of masonary landed on his foot pretty much splitting it in two.
The good people at the Hallamshire manged to save his foot and he was in hospital for quite a while. He was so impressed with the care etc. that he received that after graduating he went into nursing!

Hmmm.. I feel a new thread coming on...

Isn't it near St. Ronan's church? My mate's girlfriend used to live down St. Ronan's Road so I know the area well.
