View Full Version : Junior football
steve1953 03-01-2009, 22:20 i have just been to see my son play for his team who play in the county senior league and once again it was spoilt by the ref 3 lads sent off and not a bad tackle in the game why dont the refs just use a bit of common sense instead of doing everything to the letter of the law.
lotteblade 03-01-2009, 23:53 y do u allways thnk its refs fault???
its not allways u will noly fink tht cus its ur sons team
steve1953 04-01-2009, 00:02 no it is not allways the refs fault,as i said before just use a bit of common sense, sometimes aword in the players ear is all it takes not a red or yellow card.

lotteblade 04-01-2009, 13:00 im guessing its adults actiully as of wat i av sdd county senior league or sommet
there old enuff 2 take resposblity and the reff has the duty to make sure the rules of game is stuck to!!!!!!!
or he may have seen it wrong
lotteblade 10-01-2009, 21:37 wots the point of putting up a thread if ur not going to respond wen other ppl question
steve1953 10-01-2009, 21:45 yes it was adults and i have stated before that it is not allways the refs fault just asking them not to be so sharp with the cards when a little word in the ear is some times good enough but if the player then persists in fouling fair enough show him the card.
lotteblade 11-01-2009, 21:06 so was he persisteintly foulin....would u av fort why didnt he card him if it wer the other team or would of still thort harsh!!!????
steve1953 11-01-2009, 22:34 it was the lads first foul and has i stated in the first post not a bad foul in the game and 2 of the lads were of the other side not my sons side.
