Yes. They're all incredibly ugly. And they beat the Owls in both cups a decade ago, starting the downfall that we're only just beginning to recover from (albeit £30 million in debt)

I thought it might have had something to do with the 93 cup finals. The best bit was when Morrow broke his arm falling off someones back while trying to celebrate. :D

I think Martin Hayes is from the late 80's. He played up front with Niall Quinn.

I'll take this opportunity to add a few other ugly mugs that haven't been mentioned.

Luke Chadwick
Steve Ogrizovic
Martin Hodge
Ronaldinho
David Dodds

I heard a great comment about Iain Dowie a while ago. I think it was Adrian Chiles on MOTD 2 who said "Your mother always told you that your face would stay as it was if the wind changed too quickly. I think he's the living proof!"

You may have a point there. What is that strange thing (http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/40473000/jpg/_40473007_dowie.jpg) on his head? Oh, it's his face

I've always thought that Harry Rednapp's face resembles a brown paper bag filled with hard-boiled sweets.

The impressive gobber that is El Hadji-Diouf looks like a smeared thumb-mark (with saliva). Sir Alex Ferguson makes me think of bacon.

But for sheer ugliness, I'd go along with Luke Chadwick, Ian Dowie (the guy looks perpetually startled) and Ronaldo, simply because he looks as if he's about to start crying. Maybe it's because all his face flies off when he runs, like a pizza tied to a rocket, bits of cheese and pepperoni flying off.

Whilst on the subject of football, I think Mark Pougatch of BBC TV and radio should get a mention for his brilliant surname.

See Iain Dowie and Soccer am have managed to get Bouncbackability into the latest Collins dictionary.

Football, has to be Ronaldo. Looks like Red Rum on a bad day.
Strange how all the ugly £100,000 a week guys get stunning women.
Presume it's their personalities.

Well, someone said Ronaldo looks like a horse.

Maybe, when it comes to attracting the opposite sex, it's not the money but another horse-like feature that he boasts?

(Maybe the weight of it swinging between his legs is why he falls to the floor at the merest touch?)

Also, probably doesn't so much as wear a box as have to travel in one...,

OK then, what would you rather be, rich or ugly?

Suppose if you were rich then you'd have as much cosmetic surgery as you'd need.

Actually it looks a lot like Jimmy Sirrell who was one of United's managers in the 70's. He must have been a contender for ugliest manager of all time.

Ugliest looking team of all time must have been the Middlesbrough team that Jack Charlton managed when they got promoted to the old first division back in the 70's,

Players like Craggs, Murdoch, Boam, Foggon.........they looked like they could eat ten times as many pies as Kevin Pressman, sup a couple of gallons a night and still have room for fish and chips on the way home.
