I am thinking of ordering some food, I have at hand a wide variety of menus but wouldn't mind looking at a few others.

Some are available online but not all.

A lot of people use this forum and a section which contained the menus for various takeaways (maybe all of them in sheffield) would be very useful for all.

All you would have to do would be scan in the menus and host them at a small charge to the takeaways, everybody could benefit.
£ for the forum, menus for the hungry, and customers for takeaways.

Has this been suggested before?

If the takeaways don't like it, my mate is a chef. We could have an SF menu :P

I like this idea and I'll scan in some reference menus on the photography page. To tempt an advertising section.
IMO advertising is ok when people are looking for it.

some takeaway owners don't like it
due to they check prices with competitors,
unless you scan without the prices
