Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has started or completed the Baby Surprise Jacket by "Elizabeth Zimmermann"?

If so would you please help me with these following row: I'm not sure if I'm reading or doing this row correctly. Because it does not add up to 94 stitches, it adds up to 98 stitches so I know I am doing something wrong.

Here's how the pattern read:

row 47: 23, 46 (begin incs of M1, K1, M1).

How I read it is:

row 47: k23 m1, k1, m1, k46, m1, k1, m1, k23

It comes out to 98 stitches instead of 94.

Please if someone can help I would deeply appreciate it.

I haven't made one of these, but Wool4brains has made a few. I don't know if you have come across these notes (http://www.3gcs.com/adcock/free%20patterns/BSS%20Notes.htm), but they might help you out.
