Does any one have any reccomendations of nice places to eat in Sheffield that would include maybe fish and chips??

Two Steps on Sharrow Vale Road near Hunters Bar is undoubtedly the best Fish and Chip shop in the world, not just Sheffield.

Trouble is, in the Sportsman, do you opt for fish and chips or meat and potato pie with loads of Henderson's?

Dore Moor INN not sure about Fish and Chips though. they may do them but not sure.

Frog and Parrot has fish and chips and it's really good and it's on the two for seven quid list.

The Old House do a really nice Fish and Chips and it's only about a fiver! It's on Division Street near the Forum.

The devonshire arms (herries rd near northern general) do lovely fish and chips. The fish is freshly battered and cooked fresh. The protions are not the biggest but fine for me. But at £7 for two meals it is great value. Maybe just get some extra chips if you are hungry.
