Just wondered how many people on here keep reptiles?

I've got 3 Leopard Geckos, 1 Bearded Dragon, 1 Corn Snake, 1 Chinese Water Dragon, 2 Fire Bellied Toads and a Veiled Chameleon , so yeah... really into reptiles :D

just got one chameleon and yes she is cool

Mines a female too, great lizards, so cool when they shoot out there tongue to catch crickets :hihi:

I kept reptiles till last year. I had 1 iguana, 2 bearded dragons, 2 hermann tortoises, 1 bosc monitor, 1 corn snake and 1 emperor scorpion. Now im down to my dogs, cats and a parrot.

I have
1 corn snake
1 bearded dragon
2 berber skinks
and still want more

Loads just hanging around the streets here. Small ones often find there way into the house but no one minds as they eat mozzies.

Must take a couple of snaps next time and post links for you.

please dont take me the wrong way at all as i have no clue what so ever but is it true that all reptiles carry salmonella?

are they really hard to look after?

i am not critcisng anybody i just dont know anything about these types of animals and im interested in learning more.

I keep 16 Puff Adders to deter the postman.

alot of animals carry it not just reptiles. i think terrapins are the worst offenders but not 100%
but yeah theres bugs on most pets just a case of good hygeine , reptiles arent any more dangerous or risky in that respect

i am not critcisng anybody i just dont know anything about these types of animals and im interested in learning more.Its not just reptiles that can carry salmonella ...dogs and cats can to ..basically any animal that eats uncooked meat as the potential to carry it ..as long as you wash your hands after handling them there's no risk

bearded dragons make great pets but unfortunately for me I like much larger Lizards mainly monitor lizards and Tegus which take up loads of space..so I am restricted to how many I keep
