i am after a digital dictation machine for my daughter to record her college lectures so i am wondering if any of you have had experiance with them and any suggestions for a reasonably priced one preferable under 100 notes

after one that can record 8+ hours and link to a PC for downloading

I used to work for a special needs company and we used to supply Sony ICR and Olympus DM range of digital machines, both very good.

We had a range that were fully tested by actual students recording lectures before picking the best ones, depending on memory card type and record time, recording quality (always use an external mic), ease of use and quality of PC software for archiving the recordings.
