Why not take up normalised orthography? It costs very little, and requires very limited equipment.

You could come and play Roller Derby - its a full contact team sport played on old style quad skates. We are recruiting for females over 18 to join the team and men to get involved as refs, coaches etc. You don't need to be able to skate if you want to come along even if its just to watch we practice 3 - 6 at graves leisure centre send me a message or look us up on facebook.

Rugby! Very cheap and very enjoyable. Depending where you are in the city there are loads of clubs.
