i was thinking about this - train and a short walk in the peaks perhaps (with a few pubs thrown in for good measure)

karting (there's one near the Sherwood Pines go ape that does team races with pit stops and stuff)

hire some bikes and go round clumber park, add a BBQ and bob's your uncle.

bog snorkelling (although I'd have to research this a little more)

Just in case the bog snorkelling doesn't take off - How about:

Donny races (maybe in the summer!)
Ice Skating at Ice Sheffield - We could go to the cheesy disco night
Or failing that an old fashioned trip round the pubs / bars in Sheffield town centre on a Friday or Saturday night...

If you want what times are best for people, a cool site to organise and get votes etc is doodle.com its free easy to set up and use... (don't know if its any use but hey thought i'd let ya know)

I like the idea of rounders or softball (i love rounders) or footy or like the one i missed :( with lots of sports etc and bbq (one that I will attend this time!!) but any socials with some activity in the morning/afternoon then onto beer, sitting down and talking to people I'm up for :)

Bunk-barn.. yeah.. it was me that suggested some walk in the peaks then camping (with beer and games) in a barn ... problem is that it can't cater for lots of people as a barn really only fits 15 people ish... so maybe won't work :(

How about we organise a Sheffield badminton ball? -- (an SBB!) We can hire out a hall, have a sit down 4 course meal, some tradition dancing (like a kayleigh), party games like a roulette table, (heh bingo v-lin?) but getting us all together for some formal drinking/eating and socialising would be great i think!! Cigars for the men at the end of the night ;) ?

We need somewhere with a 'drawing room' for the men folk to retire to later in the evening. Preferably with big leather chairs we can sit in whilst smoking cigars with our bow-ties undone or at least a gentlemanly billiards table.

The socials are great but can we remember some people don't have very big funds available like £30 + equip.

Cycling in Clumber n picnic/bbq sounded nice, camping trip, bowling, bingo cud be a real hoot (gettin all the tables near each other)... darts with people dressing up as made up darts champions, big bellies n stuff...... I have board but tiny flat so no room tho...
