Just seen it on Sky sports news that Paddy Kenny is being linked witha £5m move to Newcastle with Shay Given off to Arsenal.
I was just wondering who people would like to see as a replacement and with more money to spend, what other additions to the team would you like to see?
Personally I think that if Paddy is to go then Ben Foster would make a good replacement. Especially since hes getting restless at Man Utd.

Paddy Kenny? jeez, I admit I havent seen him play for about 2years, but I always thought he was dog poo! has he improved a lot then?

Ben Foster does show promise though.

Kenny is a decent keeper but certainly not worth £5mil.

Although I aint complaining if newcastle want to spend that much.

If Newcastle sell Given they might as well give up for this season. He's been their best player for the last two seasons at least.

If they do sell him I would have a guess that Kenny wouldn't be top of their list of replacements.

Dennis Wise was at the Charlton game - Kenny has been dropped after a fall out - hence the story?

I think Paddy has took his place for granted for too long and i dont think its a great loss if he moves

I disagree about singing players - the worst two were Hoddle and Waddle at Tottenham when they did "Diamond Lights".

I don't think he is worth £5 million.

Thats not a bad offer for Kenny. Rumour is West Sham have turned down £12million from Spurs for Craig Bellamy, now thats well overpriced:hihi:

What a load of tosh, why would they go for kenny when they already have two better keepers than him there even if given goes in harper and krul. The papers sirring as usual.
