4ft isn't big enough for a drawf lop, sorry but it isn't kind to even put a rabbit in that size to sleep. Please don't get animals if you can't provide the correct hutch size for what ever reason, speak to teeny or sooz on here they will tell you the same.

that doesn't make it right they sell hutches which are to small, so please don't put a rabbit in one that size its just cruel.

4ft is far from ideal if it was a permanent arrangment, but I have been to plenty of rescues where rabbits are kept in hutches of that size or smaller as a temporary measure whilst rehoming, sometimes for months on end.

Do you have a secure run where your rabbit can be let out in the day for exercise? Some people use a 4ft hutch with the doors taken off inside a run and the rabbit just pops in the hutch to sleep and has free acess to the run at all other times.

The alternative is perhaps a large dog crate for indoors so your bun can free range and have the crate as a secure place for sleeping, eating etc away from your daughter if you feel she would disturb the bun.

Hope that helps a little:)

I have a 4 ft hutch here in my garden and it has a upstairs and down stairs so is slighty better than just 4ft, I can't offer it yet as its full of hay racks/ bunny toys at present but will be availble soon , free if you want it ?
I have a deliery of 6 x 8f hutches due in february so thats when it will probably be free.
