Hi, I was wondering if you know anywhere I could do Japanese classes in the evening starting from September ; can anyone recommend a good local Further Education College - do any Universities do a course open to the public? Thanks

I looked into this a few years ago, couldn't find anything in Sheffield: we are lucky enough to have School of East Asian Studies here in Sheffield, but they told me they don't run any part-time courses.

If anyone finds anything, please let me know. I did Japanese in college (about 7 years ago), and would like to take it back up again.

I plan to look for something in November after I finish an OU course in business I'm doing.

konbanwa! I will be moving up to Sheffield in September to do graduate studies in Japanese. If I have time I would not mind teaching.

Hi Mtheo.
I did japanese at sheffield univeristy evening class for two years.
I would love to pick it up again.
How about a few of us getting together to form a class.

I'm very interested in studying Japanese on a part-time basis - Sheffield Hallam do an evening course, I understand. Is it any good? Anyone here done it?

I'd love to know about any learning groups or one-on-one teachers that are in Sheffield or Rotherham. I'm pretty much an absolute beginner - I've got a few books on learning Japanese, but I'm only just starting with them.
