Having problems getting a wireless connection up and running between a sony vaio and a AOHELL netgear modem.We can get on wired but every time we try to connect wireless the puter says no :help:

If you are on orange then you might have the problem i have been having for the last hour or so,

Basically you have to pair the router with the laptop so when you have the laptop set up trying to connect you then have to press the 1 button on the livebox to get them to pair, It then worked for me.

no not on orange on aol,

is wireless caperbility switched on on your laptop? (should be a blue signal light)

Does your web key match your laptop

Think that is only when u have a desk top pc and running your wireless off them, thats how we work ours, and we are with aolhell

yes its switched on but ours is a green light not blue

were trying to do a similar thing,running the desktop non wireless and the laptop wireless.when we put in passwords/webkeys they are the same but for some reason they can see each other but wont connect.

Sorted.
