Hi, i know its not Sheffield related, but am hoping to spend a few days near Nantwich in the new year, and intend taking the clubs.

I have looked through the various golf course guides for the area, and highlighted a couple of courses, which look very good.

But as it will be January, does anyone have any recommendations for courses to play in this area, at this time of year.

I've played the Tytherington Club in Macclesfield, a quality course but I couldn't tell you about the drainage or whether or not it is the part of cheshire you want.
