Topic.

Recorded a video on my phone that I want to upload to Youtube, but the video is horizontally slanted and I want to change it to vertical.

Is there any free software I could download to do this? If it was an image I know I could do it in Paint, just adjust the image, but this is a video file.

So yeah, anyone able to help? Or does anyone even know what I'm on about? :P

Um, just downloaded the thing in your link, and in order to use it, you have to register it, which ISN'T free! :loopy:

Can anyone else help with something that is genuinely FREE?!

Grow up, trolling is NOT cool.

I Googled, OK?! :loopy:

The software I found does not work on my Dad's system, and isn't free, as I asked for in the OP, as you have to REGISTER to use it, which costs MONEY!

Do you see?

How about this:

http://www.mediaconverter.org/

Convert video to a format that Windows Movie Maker will handle

There's an option in WMM to rotate the video - 2: Edit Movie. Look in VIEW VIDEO EFFECTS then select ROTATE.

I would assume that he is downloading the full suite instead of just the free shareware program.

Don't know what you're doing Rich, but it's a direct link to freeware that will do the job, and no need to register.
