Hi there! Some friends and myself have just signed for a house off Handsworth Rd. From what we've seen it seems quite nice. We havent had much of a chance to look around though and were wondering what there is in Handsworth?
Just would like to know what the pubs are like, what shops there are, entertainment etc!!!!

You dont say if your moving from within Sheffield or from out of the area.

Theres not much to do in Handsworth apart from pubs and the 24 hour supermarket (useful after the pub;) ) but the buses to the city centre are every 10 minutes and only take about 15 minutesto get there.

You'll also have Meadowhall and the Centretaiment complex close by and good road links to just about anywhere in Sheffield.

I'm moving out of Handsworth soon, but have enjoyed the last few years here.

Yeah i'm sure we're gonna have a fab time in Handsworth, like u say got the best of both worlds, got a car so should be no problem!

We're gonna be ex students! Finished this year but wanted to stay in Sheff!
