I watch celebrity big brother, n I read loads and loads of books. Its only on for an hour a day for three weeks of the year :confused:

What baffles me is what the interest is. Like the "Celebs in the jungle" programme, they're not really top celebs are they. More like faded celebs or nearly celebs who want to improve their status. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. But why do (seemingly) intelligent people want to watch them washing the pots, having breakfast, and sleeping ?

The truth is what they want to see is anything controversial, spicey, naughty or offensive. A bit like the fact that people only watch a tight - rope walker cos he might fall off. I find it a little sad that some people have nothing more interesting to do.
And don't forget that the viewers pay for it all when they phone in to evict somebody.

Yep. There's far too much sneering from the would-be superior. Reaching beyond the 'watching or not watching of BB', how many of us stand up to any serious scrutiny. Much of what is ont (sic) telly now is lowbrow nonsense. BB seems to be used as the main scapegoat for all of it.

I had a look and the main thing that struck is the presence of too many washed up UK popstars. The US ones, Coolio and LaToya J. will have a bit of curiosity value over here but do we really need Mutya 'Sugarbabe' Buena, the fellow from A1 (?) AND a former Liberty x-er??

An older figure is needed in there to provide some contrast.

I'm only watching for LaToya, I find it fascinating that she's so - well - bizarre. It really does look like she's been completely sheltered from the world and knows very little about interaction with others.

Yet she's so gentle and sweet and accommodating.

It's quite fascinating and a real insight into the Jacksons and why Michael is the way he is (or could be).

So, while the show is crap - it's very interesting for people watchers.

I am quite impressed with Verne. I thought he would just sit and be cute, without much to say, but when he was impersonating Coolio he was hilarious :D

I feel La Toya is very vulnerable, makes me want to protect her, yet when she is given a task to do, she gives it her best effort.

Ulrika basically said tonight that she was doing this for the money for her family and the sooner she gets thrown off the better, her baby is only 7 months she must miss it.

I haven't found any of them I actively dislike yet, which is unusual, although Tina is a bit loud for my taste, and Coolio is a bit irritatingly macho.

I get told off for watching celebrity big brother, and with good reason to be fair…it’s not been that good. The lineup was ok compared to previous ones but there are too many dull people. In general. There is nothing entertaining about Verne. He's had a few moments, that's about it.

Coolio has been the most entertaining housemate by far. Latoya has grown on me. Tommy and Terry aint too bad.

I never call to vote dont really care that much who wins just have my opinion of who i think should have won.

When will people ever learn. Don't phone in, all you're doing is putting money into someone's pocket.How was this one a scam?

They have obviously worked out which method prompts the most people to vote each week thus earning them the most money. If it stayed the same throughout I'm sure the result would definitely be different as not voting against someone is not same as voting for them.
