this is a big tip to anyone whose stupidly crazy like me and thought they'd dye their hair for any of the upcoming festivals...

DO NOT TRY AND DO YOUR EYEBROWS TOO!

I thought, what the hell, my eyebrows are blondish, they'll take the red dye like my hair does... how wrong I was... my eyebrows are now blonde, a tiny bit red, and a few splodges of pink!

thankfully I don't really care too much that I now look a dick, but for those of you that do care, don't do your eyebrows... it will only lead to people laughing at you...

I've not left my house yet, but I have work in a few hours... wahoo!

on a side note... my hairs red now :D well mostly, it hasn't took 100% like last time, maybe this is a weaker batch? but I may try again tomorrow haha

You could go for the shaving eyebrows off look.... it's not good but neither is splodgy pink..:)

I always understood that once you shaved eyebrowns off they never grow back!

Look at the old films stars they all had to pencil theres in after shaving them all off as it was the style back then.

I think the number of stag-night eyebrow attacks shows that they do grow back, or there would be loads of blokes walking about with just one eye-brow.

lets not talk of shaving eyebrows... I like my eyebrows! they're staying attached, even if they do look silly... I'm sure it'll wash out in umm ... 8 - 10 washes? haha

I think that if you pluck them repeatedly they eventually don't grow back. But you can have them tattooed back on. Just as some women a few years ago were having eyeliner tattoed on, so it didn't run in the swimming pool. Bless 'em.

I've always read 'Never die your eyebrows' I guess you have now learned your lesson... and that you wont be doint it again in a hurry! :blush:

Although now i think back, i had my hairdress dye my eybrows once, dark brown as they were getting grey, it didn't last very long at all, few days.

hmm y'know what... your right... it does say that... lol... but if I'd have read it I'd have probably ignored it anyways... i knew it was a silly idea but I thought that its all hair, it should all dye the same... obviously not... maybe there's more grease on your eyebrow hairs or something? or they just dont like being dyed?

Maybe its because eyebrows and eyelashes are short and not as old as hair on your head, they don't get as porous, so they won't absord dye in the same way as your barnet. You can buy eyebrow and eyelash dye though.

I dye my eyebrows regularly with eyelash dye. It works a treat, lasts about a month. If you're wondering why, it's because they're very fair and I'm not keen on the Boris Becker pale eyebrow look!

How can you not know this? I thought it was a unwritten all known law, even for us men!

When I had black hair, i didn't dye my eyebrows, I used a medium brown eyebrow pencil so that they matched colours better.

You may feel a bit metrosexual but if you are dyeing your hair anyway, it is likely you won't care.

Why not just buy some brown eyelash dye and make them a more acceptable colour?
