I saw the appeal for cat food for Jackie and, not being able to help with food, thought I'd make a donation via Paypal instead.

But I can't access the website at all, tried from my Favourites and the link from Rain Rescue site, but no luck at all.

Anybody any ideas???

Does she still have the rights to the previous domain name? If so it'd be worth pointing the old domain to the new one (just means changing nameservers I think) so that this sort of thing doesn't stop people donating :)

I'm not sure it was Rae that organised the new website.

I'm never in touch with Jackie and don't know who Rae is lol, so it may be worthwhile asking. I'm no computer expert but I'm sure if she still has the domain name paid for she can simply change nameservers to point to the new website - then whether you use the old or the new website address, it'll go to the same website.

I've sent her a message to ask what th situation is.

She should be able to update the old domain info as Lotti says to point at the current site. Of course that depends on the person who actually controls the old domain still being in touch with Jackie and being willing to relinquish control...

I cant remember what the old domain was. Apparantly it was sendaletter that organised the new site so you'd need to ask he about domains.

Yes it was me that organised the new website. Unfortunately we don't have access to the old domain which is why we haven't pointed it over. I would have just used the old address for the website if we could have. I even tried contacting nominet who manage the uk domains but they said as it wasnt registered to the charity they can't help.
As someone mentioned earlier the new address is www.sheffieldcats.org there is a paypal link to donate money to C.A.T.S. as well. Any donations will be appreciated. Also if anyone has any whiskas or royal cannin food that would be appreciated too.
