View Full Version : Exotic pet shops in sheffield/Rotherham?!
scaramanga 07-06-2005, 10:40 I have four hungery tarantulas and a mantis that i will have to feed again once their current supply of crickets and other beasties run out. I know about city serpents (if its still open) on bramall lane but are there any others closer to where i live? I live in the aston/aughton/swallownest area.
There are two places in Attercliffe, the one near the Post Office is the better one (it's cleaner and not as smelly).
livefoods.co.uk
I ORDER ALL MY FOOD FROM HERE,CRICKETS AND MICE,ALL ARRIVE NEXTDAY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
the postman looks at me funny when he hands over the package and its making odd noise's:D
what you pay on postage you save on petrol money.
scaramanga 07-06-2005, 12:33 I have thought of using that website... suppose its a good idea really. I think ill do the website and sit on my arse :)
scaramanga 03-07-2005, 22:58 just ressurecting this thread (i could look on yell i suppose but id like to get reccomended ones). Any more exotic pet shops?! Im after a chameleon.

scaramanga 16-07-2005, 21:45 cheers, ive been checking those shops out now. Both nice, sheff exotics is slightly more 'dodgy' Ive once i went in and it was full scally teenagers... :| not good, i just wanted to leave straight away.
I order from Livefood.co.uk and delivery is excellent. if you bulk buy the price is even better.
PS ive got baby beardies due soon if anyone is interested PM me.
I work near that Attercliffe shop and I must say it's very popular.
People going in non-stop!
Worryingly though, more people seem to go in that come out! I daren't find out why ;)
Went to snake shop at weekend to get some crickets (I keep forgetting to order them - so good exuse for day out!).
Nearly came back with loads of stuff but controlled myself and only got a scorpion. Shame it not captive bred tho - maybe I will have to start a breeding programme.

Thank you, you have made my own compulsive shopping habit look less dangerous.
snake shop in attercliffe sell quite alot of stuff, sheffield exotics isnt as good, and its always closed
I also felt the guy in the Snake shop was knowledgable and best of all honest - when I expressed preference for captive bred scrops/spiders he was honest his were wild.
Many ppl would have told me they were captive bred just to make sale.
