View Full Version : McAllister axed
CHAIRBOY 21-12-2008, 11:21 Leeds have sacked manager, Gary McAllister. yet another good international player who doesn't seem to be able to do it at management level.
Wouldn't help having Staunton as your number two!

Stan Tamudo 21-12-2008, 12:22 This means tomorrow evening's Look North will be devoted to McAllister's sacking.
Hunter,Lorimer and Eddie Gray will probably chip in with who should take over next.
There will be more than a few Geordies hoping that Dennis Wise goes back.
firecracker 21-12-2008, 14:56 Hardly unexpected, was it? If there's one thing Ken Bates hasn't forgotten how to do, its sack managers.

Thingything 22-12-2008, 00:49 Feel sorry for the bloke to be honest after all he went through with his wifes illness
Then again i dont think he was a particulary good manager and having Ken Bates as your Boss your always going to be looking for daggers in your back, thank god we didn't take him on board
abbasinho 22-12-2008, 07:55 Leeds can stay in Division One for as long as they want for me. Aidy Boothroyd will get the job.

Ousetunes 22-12-2008, 09:40 Hopefully, Mr Bates (such a lovely chap) will be on the blower to Bramall Lane enquiring about Kevin Blackwell.
Purleeeease, he's yours, take him.
GordonBennet 22-12-2008, 09:57 They're only a little club these days. To be honest, being mid table in league one is about their natural level, its just that some of their fans still think they're a big club and expectations are too high.
Methinks Mr Denis wise will be looking at this job with interest!!

Yes, they'd deserve that, wouldn't they?
Most hated team, stadium, fans, chairman and manager.
Smashing.

Millwall would race to disagree with that statement

I have been a season ticket holder for about 15 years and usually park the car around the ground somewhere unless I go on the train, the only time I have had any trouble was when we played Millwall, a number of cars had there windows put through:o

Millwall haven't got Ken Bates.
That puts Le*ds well ahead of them, IMO.

True - but which is better, Leeds or Ken Bates?
There's only one way to find out...........

That would be a marriage made in heaven
Give the job to Bremner.
Agree, preferably Rory
mickdalewood 23-12-2008, 11:22 Simon Grayson has just been confirmed as new boss as of Sky Sports News

Simon who?

Ooh, shut that door Lenny Bennett.
I'm 'happy as Larry' that they have given the job to Grayson. He's been off the comedy scene for too long.
The only question now is will they give the assistants job to Isla St Clair?
Ousetunes 23-12-2008, 14:44 So, Hate United go and poach someone else's manager.
Any chance they can be deducted 30 points for this?
