Today was the first day I could take Koda out (2 wks after 2nd injections), so we went on our first walk this morning. I have already lead trained her in the house and on the garden so aside from a few pulls and a couple of runs to get to some people/dogs it went well (her little tail never stopped wagging bless!).

I was just wanting to know the best way to housetrain. She has got really good at using the pads (maybe a bit too good) so I don't want to take her out to have her come and wee on a pad!

I started training her to "wee wee" so she knows what I require on the pads, so I'm hoping this will work outside especially right after taking a nap-but any other suggestions most welcome!!

I just had to laugh though, I went to the kitchen where the puppy pads are, to make a cuppa and she weed in front of me on the pad. I quickly priased her and gave her a treat right after.
2 minutes later she did another little wee then sat wagging her tail for a treat-is it just me or is she starting to manipulize me by doing bits at a time for more treats??

not sure with this one as i bipassed all paper/pad training and just let pip out every hour or when she sniffed around-i read it was easier this way. I put her in a pen when we out and made sure it was on a wipeable surface. She was fully house trained at 18 weeks day and night (crated at night), with only the odd accident if not payin attention when younger than.
