Anyone remember Thackers shop in Darnall on Worksop Road I think it was.

I do remember it well. I used to have to go there to buy fire wood so my nan could get the fire going.

Written on the windows in chalk were offers etc. We used to rub out letters to make other words.

going back 40 odd years so memory aint what it was Did they sell penny lollies and broken biscuits or was that the shop on the corner on Main Road next to the fire station? Maybe it was both.
