I haven't got anywhere planned for New Years Eve yet and need ideas on where to go in Sheffield/Barnsley or other places similar?

I'll be at work here: http://www.pet-sounds.co.uk - Probably the biggest NYE parties going if it's your kind of music

As for hotels I recommend the Leopald hotel usually but looks like they're booked up, Beauchief is quite nice and they seem to have some free but it's not really clear from website http://www.beauchief-hotel.com

I'll be at home with my wife and my dogs, the ones who stick by me ALL year round, not just when they are ****** on New Years Eve.

I'm off to the Harley for wall of balls. They're having a hotel party after. not sure if there's any rooms left though. Worth trying

Well we've been invited to various house parties but i don't really want to go to one i'd rather go out, thing is if all our friends are staying in then maybe we'll have to join them

Brothers house, playing 'Rock Band' with the nieces, don't do going out on New Year, way too much hassle!

Otherwise I would have been tempted by this:

At home with family, sod paying £10 admission plus cost of drinks to get in some obscenely overcrowded Pub where they hike the prices at the Bar just cos it's New Year's Eve.
