I haven't got anywhere planned for New Years Eve yet and need ideas on where to go in Sheffield/Barnsley or other places similar?

Also need to know of any tickets that may be needed or hotel information

As for hotels I recommend the Leopald hotel usually but looks like they're booked up, Beauchief is quite nice and they seem to have some free but it's not really clear from website http://www.beauchief-hotel.com

Well we've been invited to various house parties but i don't really want to go to one i'd rather go out, thing is if all our friends are staying in then maybe we'll have to join them

We went out last year in Sheffield and booked a hotel for the night in advance and it was great and u it werent as busy as u might think it would be, so i want to go somewhere different

we are working til 8pm and then are havng some friends round for a few hours to see the new year in . I was going to takemy hubby away but our dog sitter was rushed into hospital yesterday so we can't do that this year.

At home with family, sod paying £10 admission plus cost of drinks to get in some obscenely overcrowded Pub where they hike the prices at the Bar just cos it's New Year's Eve.

Tucked up in bed with a good book.
