Has anyone any recollections of Chistmas in and around Attercliffe in the 1950 and 60's

I recall our school Christmas party about 1956 at Carbrook County Junior School. Everyone contributed by bringing a packet of biscuits or pop etc.

yes i do banners where we used to shop and in them days it was busy

they had their own coinage....all gone now

At Colleridge Rd School they had a carol concert.I think it was the only joint activity the boys and girls School had together[officially]

Mr and Mrs Stribly were the headteachers at Coleridge Road School.

i went to carbrook county school too, can also remember the banners coinage, some was scalloped edges, others were square:o, i can also remember the canisters that they put money into and then placed it in to the pipes that sucked it up to the accounts dept:hihi:

I remember that as I was in the choir when I was at the school.
