it's Walter Ernest then not William

on 1901 it says Wm Ernest so presumed it was William but have heard alot about 1901 census having many faults.

Alternatively you can get in touch with the Sheffield Local Studies library. They'll do searchs for you. Their email address is local.studies@dial.pipex.com

They've also got a website of old Sheffield photographs, they might have Dee Street. Try picturesheffield.com
