whats the best software to lend images together?
im after making a header and clickable pics for my page.The header needs to have about 5 pics blended together with text in the middle.
The clickable pics need to be with same colour background and have a ''sign up'' button.

whats easiest and best software to use?
i've got PS but haven't got a clue how to use it :(

any help would be greatly appreciated
