I finally got permission to take some photo shots in snakes&adders new reptile shop (please dont go bothering him asking to take pictures as I am sure you will understand hes a very busy man )...I must say I was more than impressed with all the captive breeding projects Chaz he is doing and the level of knowledge and care he gives his reptiles and amphibians
Well heres just a small selectin of the current stock...I will post more pictures at a later date..
Thanks Chaz for the drink and showing me around all the breeding stock:thumbsup:

The dragon we have named drago and he has settled in great. He is shedding alot and is really friendly and active i wont either a 3 ft or a 4ft wooden viv for him. Think it would be better

Thanks ...they cost a lot to keep compared to most reptiles due to there high metabolism and varied diet..There definitely not a beginners Lizard and you need a custom built vivarium for them at least 8x3x3ft with secure doors and good ventilation which can be a problem for a lot of people as you cannot buy vivs this size in the shops...But sadly most people dont think of this when they buy a cute 10" youngster from the shop only to find it will need a 6foot viv in 6 months time ...my male was just under 4foot long by the time he was 12month old
Most get realy tame but some never do so people should take this into consideration before purchase as an adult male Tegu can take your fingers of if it turns on you....Mine are realy tame with the exception of the female as shes a moody sod and has bit me more than once lol...But the big male will climb on my knee and watch TV with me till he falls asleep:thumbsup:
