Does anyone here know where I get a Radar key? I mean the ones for the disabled which unlock toilets

Hi mainframe....you have to join..contact www.radar.org.uk Any one with a dissability can apply for one ,cost of about £3.50.you should be able to order one on line.:)Or try www.disabilitycharter.myby.co.uk you may find this site more usefull:cool:

If you are in reciept of disability benefits, you can get an application form for one through first-point, @ Howden house.

(You still have to wait a couple of weeks for them to arive.)

The council's social services dept issue them and it's free.

Can just anyone on disabled benefits get one though? I wouldn't mind one, given the lack of toilets in Hillsborough or Town (although they have recently opened some more in Orchard Square, near the Wednesday shop).

AFAIK, yes, all you have to do is get a form from howden house, and prove that you recieve bebfit, and they should send you one out in th piost. it can take a couple of weeks, though, so be prepared to wait a little while.
