I have seen a few rumours flying about...is Robbie Williams going back to Take That? Where has he been all this time?

I was never a fan of Take That in the olden days, I only liked that Back for Good song. However they are still doing well and I admit to liking the songs they are releasing.

Didn't Robbie snub them when they rejoined? I suppose now they are doing well and raking it in he can't wait to crawl out of his hole, he'd be mad not to!

I'm not a fan of Robbie but I suppose some would say he has a right to go back being an original member, but I think he might spoil the set up and upset them since it seems they never all got on before nicely anyway. But hey maybe that was just the media making us believe that.

What do the Take That fans out there think? :)

I love Robbie Williams, but think it could spoil what take that have now if he comes back.

Take That? Meh, the 90s rang, they want their crap Boyband back.. They're not even boys any more, they're all around my age or perhaps older (early to mid 30s)

No he should form a now double act with David Van Day and they should do a tour of all the northern working mens clubs.

I still would. :hihi:

Ermmm, nah - Mark looks ill and wearing those funny hats don't help the look.

No no no,
Take that are brilliant at what they do, a showcase for Gary Barlow who has little charisma on his own but is a frustrated showman and an accomplished song writer. The rest are grateful that they are no longer working in a bank/selling the big Issue, know they've not got the talent to make it on their own and they work well as a unit. It's not my taste but i acknowledge that they are good at pop music.

Robbie is a fascinating character, a tortured soul - I adored reading his autobiography. He's best off staying out of the limelight for huge amounts of time, he simply can't cope with it. Again his music is not my taste but as a character i find him intriguing, he is one unhappy little bunny.

I was never much of a Take That fan, but I must admit that they had/have some catchy ditties. Howard is ageing well  . I suspect that the little one is balding, hence the recent fondness for hats.

Robbie should stick to chasing aliens. His post-Take That hubris was particularly unattractive, so his relative obscurity now is well deserved. Take That should do a comedy version of Angels.

I always thought John Major was more of a 90s icon than Take That.

Yeah I agree, but Gary Barlow is looking very tasty with a bit of age on him:love:

No he shouldn't.

Maybe a *guest* appearance at a show/a few shows, but no more than that !! TT have managed very well without him :)

He was the "Posh Spice" member of Take That, talentless but very lucky.

Never a Take That fan first time around but they have moved on, their songs now have a style of their own, nothing like the 'old' take that, more classy if you like and far better than the early years! No need for a loose cannon like RW!

I cared not for Take That first time round but admit to liking them second time round. One reason for that has to be the omission of the one who refuses to come out of the closet.

Nah, let them stay as they are.

Not only that, Robbie would look a dick in the new M & S advert wouldn't he?

Having said that, Boyzone have a gay one in their ranks. Maybe getting Robbie back would appease their gay fans?

I don't think they should take him back even if he wants to.

After inviting him when they reformed for him to totally snub them, now he wants back when they are so much more successful than he currently is?

You make your bed, you lie in it!

No, he's just a talentless hack with the vocal range of a Canary with a throat infection.

I think how its funny that he snubbed them originally, but as soon as he realises they're doing quite well, wants to be involved again. I think he should be a guest for a few songs, but shouldn't be allowed to rejoin - they're so much better without him, much classier as well.

Thats just what I was thinking. Rob's last album didn't do so well so he is taking out some insurance in case his next one flops.

Like others have said I had no time for TAKE THAT ten years ago but they are now making quality music. The latest single is outstanding. Mind you a TAKE That album is mainly a Gary Barlow album, the others just supply backing vocals.

Personally, I think Robbie's much better as a solo artist. I love his work, but not as big a fan as Take That. Some of their stuff is a bit too cheesy for me.

When Robbie was in Take That, I always said he was the best. I was never keen on TT's music anyway, but it was obvious that Robbie oozed that certain start quality. I was so very pleased when he left and went solo. I have been a fan of him ever since his first tentative steps in his solo career. With Guy Chambers' excellent songwriting ability, he excelled, and we all know about the incredible rise of Robbie thenceforward.
I would be sad to see Robbie back in TT. I thought he'd moved on, and carved out his own separate niche for himself (no mean feat really - breaking away from the "Robbie from the boyband" label). Likewise, I thought Take That had moved on too, and were enjoying their new lease of life.
Nostalgia is well over-rated dudes! Robbie is Godlike!
GODLIKE I SAY!!!
