Does anyone know of anywhere in sheffield that is selling bales of hay? I usually go to a farm just down the road from Thornberry animal sanctuary, but I'm not going to be able to get out there for a while now. I've got 6 rabbits and 7 guinea pigs so the pet shop sized bags really aren't any good. The last bale I got was £4, don't mind paying a bit more than that - I just need some hay! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:thumbsup:

I have phoned Border View farm and was told that they didn't have any in stock, and when I asked if they were likely to get anymore in, I was told to look at the weather! To be honest I would have thought it would all have been harvested and stored by now, but oh well:hihi:!

Also, does anyone know of anywhere that sells sacks of strange shaped carrots? The ones that can't be sold to the supermarkets? They went down a treat with the critters but struggling to find anywhere else that does them.

Thanks :)

Parklands at Aston do the carrots - 3 sacks for a fiver i think.
I get my hay from a guy @ Ulley, although you could also try Hewitts in Killamarsh.he's a good guy and often has bales available.

We order ours from the dust free hay company, works out cheaper if you can collect it yourselves though.
