I'm with you RPG, Sainsbury's Red Label (or Safeway's or Tesco's, don't think I've tried Morrisons yet!) or Tetley.
At the moment I'm on Tetley cos it was cheap in the Co-op!

I love tea.....I'm a bit of a tea snob if there is such a thing! It has to be tea leaves Vs teabags unless I'm in a rush at work!

I have teapots and diffusers, strainers the lot, love whittards, it sells ace flavours from english breakfast to lady grey to assam etc etc to amaretto explosion (highly recommended)

Aaah......tea.....best drink of the day!

My wife and are forever trying new teabags. Our latest one is 'Dilmah'
traditional Ceylonese tea which is mmm.....lovely.

Otherwise, you cannay beat Tetleys!

Assam - the tea of Kings.
For daily teabags - tea direct fairtrade stuff from tescos - a bit woody and bland, but ok.

Reminds me of a joke....

Q:Why do(did) Marx, Lenin and Castro only ever drink herbal tea?

A:Because all Proper Tea is theft!

Try Northern Tea Merchants in Chesterfield, they have too many to list but it's like tea and coffee heaven in there.

As for my favourite...well if it's hot and strong it will do for me.

Large leaf Darjeeling mixed equally with special Assam.

2 scoops in one pot of tea fileld to the brim, left until it is so strong it tastes like stew. Yum

Tea! I love tea! It's got to be strong! I have a problem with tea not being strong enough!
Tetleys Tea is the only brew that can do it for me!

My form tutor made the worst cup of tea ever the other day. Iwas crying, and it only served to make me feel worse!

Full fat milk, no brewing time (so just tasted like milky water) and a funny looking coffee stained mug, and there was far too much milk anyway. I sneaked it down the drain in the staffroom.[

Pretty much any tea if I don't have a choice. Fairly strong (but not a slice of tea like me owd Gramma has LOL) fairly milky.. no sugar. Yorkshire tea is good and Tea-ified.

I love Twinings Earl Grey or Darjeeling if I've got the choice (which I have at the moment because I bought some for work) and Jasmin if I'm in the Chinese.

the amount of milk that makes it not worth getting out of the fridge?

Thanks for the link Rosie. It's nice to know that there are people with enough time to design a website all about tea and biscuits.

Haven't had Yorkshire tea for ages. My housemate introduced me to that. He got some free samples, and came bouncing into my room one day like small child at Christmas 'Andy, you've got to try this tea, it's bloody brilliant' (add brummie accent). It was a lovely cup of tea.

Still, can't beat ceylon and English breakfast. In fact, i'm going to put the kettle on....

I love a gentle, weak tea, like a very lightly brewed Earl Grey.

I am a real "tea-belly" i love my cups of tea. So much so, it's a standing joke at work, where I have a pint-pot. it is affectionately known as "PT's P***-Pot" or "The Guzzunder"

I have been known to drink the odd cup of smoky, cinnamon-y Lapsang Souchong, which is also quite nice when mixed in equal parts with english breakfast.

My tea has to be weak, i can't stand strong tea. And I like my tea milky.

My grandparents used to love their tea almost strong enough for the spoon to stand up in the pot!

I have to admit to not really liking coffee much, at all. I find it too bitter, and i have to have sugar in it. And I detest coffee with sugar in it.

I used to take one or two spoonsful of sugar in my tea, till about 20-odd years ago. Now, I just cannot stand to have sweetened tea.

My first boyfriend's mum used to go through a full 2lb (1 kg) bag of sugar per day, as they used to simply teem the sugar out of the bag into the cup. They didn't use a spoon. (URGH!)

One day I calculated how much sugar was being poured into the cup, and it worked out to the equivalent of 6 or7 spoonsful!
that just so put me of sweeteened tea for life! I refused to drink sweetened tea agaoin after that. I simply went cold turkey, and got used to the taste of the tea.
