hi!
has anyone been pony trekking in and around the sheffield area??
can you recommend a good place?
want to book a session for my boyfriends birthday! so a place where he wouldnt feel silly (ie not too many kiddies riding better than him) cos hes never done it before and he will be on his won - poor love! (i cant be with him!)
woudl really appreciate a rapid response cos his birthday is tomorrow!!!!

they do a trek out at ladybower riding school, i will try find the details. it lasts 2 hours but takes you over the hills and is great, when i went i was the most experienced so think it should be ok for you.

edit: may be ladybower! its out edale way

ive been looking and calling around - but not had much luck with the places i found on the net. plus im abroad, so its bit difficult to really suss out the situation.
would be absolutely great if you could find their details for me! cheers!

a list of riding schools, the one i went to was lady booth its on the list. its about 20 mins drive out of sheffield. if you not know where to go they will give good directions:thumbsup:

sav, i tried phoning ladyBOOTH on the list - is that the one you meant? But unfortunately he said they dont do pony trekking anymore:( ill give a few others on the list a go..

If you want a change, how about trying Red House Stables. They specialise in carridge driving but they also take hacks out in the Peak District and the stables are really interesting to look around as they do a lot of filming work. The number is 01629 733583.
