I have a microsoft cordless mouse which is now about 2-3 years old. It has now started to run slow on a hit and miss bassis. The batterys in the mouse have been changed and i have cleaned the ball and rollers as best as i can but to no avail.I have also installes the software again. What could be wrong? If it is past it what do you think to optical mice. I like the cordless type of mouse. What would i have to pay for a good cordless mouse. The one i now have cost me £25 about 2-3 years ago.

Take your pick.
you can actually get MS to replace your mouse for free :)
There is a number to ring (0870 60 10 100) and tell them about it, you'll need to quote the "Product ID" number underneith the mouse.
If they dont make the one you have anymore they send out a brand new model closest to yours! :D
Im pretty sure all mice have 5 year guarentee's...
look on www.ebuyer.com they are based in sheffield and are very reliable, i've spent thousands with them
you can get an optical cordless for about £8
