BuBu 10-12-2008, 23:09 Can you be a bit more specific Hedgehog? Is it the cat that's winding the dog up or vice-versa and is either of them a more recent addition to your family than the other? Try not to worry. If they are new to one another, they will will learn to get on. It just takes a little time and patience. Tell us a bit more about your situation. There's plenty of people on here who have gone through the same thing - us included, so I'm sure you'll get some sound advice. :) Phil Jackson is a dog trainer based at Halfway/Waterthorpe. He does one-to-one training and does home visits I believe. http://www.pjdogtraining.co.uk Jon Strix 11-12-2008, 02:04 Is this the kind of thing you were aiming for? Matchstick 12-12-2008, 11:51 When we introduced Pepper (our kitten) to Guinness (our crazy dog) we gave Pepper our spare bedroom and put a dog gate up at the door so she could come out and see Guinness if she wanted to but he couldn't get in and harrass her, it took a couple of days of hissing but she finally ventured out and now they're best friends, Guinness looks out for her and cleans her ears and she loves to pounce on his tail. :) |
