Ive not even had my email alert yet! You are totally on the ball tonight Wool4brains. I shall have to go and have a look now :)

ETA: The fishy hat is very good :D Have you not had a request for the slippers? I quite like the knitted earrings.

Fish hat and slippers popular in our household too.

There's so much good stuff in this one! The earrings are lovely, I may have to investigate knitting with wire...
The fish hat made me laugh. Quite like the little bag too, though I'm not doing another one any time soon :D.
I rather like the Fargyles, and I still haven't made myself a pair of socks!
I think the slippers could work just as a cuddly toy if you stuff them!
I thought the mittens looked like Christmas tree baubles!

Has nobody noticed the socktopus? :hihi:

Amazing quality. I love the fish hat but not sure whether I will knit one. I love Fern Glade Amused and Amelia. Printed out ready for me!!! Selfish knitting here I come! Amazing amount of fab patterns this time.

I've got the second fish hat on the needles, the first is here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/16444176@N02/3104483376/). It's very good for using up odd scraps, the second one is going to be green with brown stripes because that's what I have lots of.

I have glanced at Knitty but I will not be tempted by Knitty. It is my new mantra. Dad might get a fish hat to wear whilst fishing though. Was it quick to knit W4B?

My first one is on the needles, first larger project i've done on 4 needles, i've found the shaping a bit tricky, but got through it! Phew! Can't finish it tonight though, Mr Radish's works christmas do. Your fish is Brill wool4brains.

I appreciate how the fish works now I've seen your photo! How can you have done it so quick - it's taken me a week to do about half a scarf!!!!

The fish is a quick knit although I was working under the whip on the first one (I was asked at 7pm on Thursday if I could make one for Saturday morning). I have all the way to Monday morning for the second one so I'm taking my time. It seemed to take an age to the first decrease row, after which it knitted itself.

I love the beret and the earrings, but I'm not sure I can actually knit with wire without developing an odd twitch in one eye.

I love the beret too - and even better I can now see winter knitty and not fall knitty (was I the only person who couldn't see it?!)

And the fish hat...I get the feeling his and hers might be being made....

I succumbed and looked at Knitty, made my dad a fish hat and now my brother-in-law wants one. Suggested my sister picked up her needles and made him one. I will not cast on the Maja shawl though and to be honest I need it as our boiler has now broken (those of you who heard me rave and rant in the Wool Baa about my heating issues will understand why).
