TT riders are a breed apart, very brave or very foolish. I love racing with a passion but all the lads who die at the TT each year break my heart. I have to ask the question- Should time be called on this great event? I personally think that enough is enough. What do other fans think ? venger 06-06-2005, 08:04 Originally posted by Nimrod Been a racing fan all my life, seen em all- Surtees,Duke, McIntyre,Hailwood through to Dunlop, Fogarty et al. People should be allowed to make their own decisions though. steevie/d 13-06-2005, 09:50 i dont think it shuold be stopped . but they should limmit the big bikes like they have fomula 1 but this would not stop the riders getting killed they know what they are doing they are the salt of the earth look how many tts joey won and he got killed whilst doing some charity work in eastern europe mike hailwood another master got killed in his car going to the chip shop so if the man upstairs says its time for you to go then thats it you have no choice but what a great tt this year was specially the the sidecar boys i would love to go next year all thing being well i will be there after ive been to motor g.p at donnington will have to start saving up its rather expensive ive heard any 1 been this year off this forum be glad to know how much its cost roughly best regards steve :D kirky 13-06-2005, 10:25 does george formby still take part? steevie/d 13-06-2005, 14:37 only when he is not cleanin windows :D Joelc 13-06-2005, 14:57 My cousin used to race TT stuff, he says it was the best adrenaline rush he ever had.
