I remember them, they were shiny and had spokes and everything. Although I suspect that they were a bit nasty like monster munch full of dangerous e-numbers

If you buy the "Crunchy Combo" from M&S, they have nibbit wheels in there.

You could ask Golden Wonder if they would be able to produce them under licence

As they don't appear to be either the originators or to have bought nibbits out.

Was it part of nabisco?

*goes to look*

Who makes the M&S ones?

GW do Sainsbury's and Tesco's. I don't recall seeing M&S ones there though - although they could have been at a different site.

I remember the original Nibbits - they were shaped like french fries, but tasted much better. I wish they would make these again - but I am going back to about 1969!

Back to the topic...................

I remember the crispy wheely things - I thought they came in salt and vinegar though - in a light blue (larger than most) packet.

They were scrummy, we used to have them all the time as a kid, so they must have been cheap!:D

And before Owlschick replies with the every so predictable "get a life", I'm quite happy with the one I have thank you.

in our local pub the other week they had one of them fun fortune's quizzes and one of the questions was
"top five answers for sweets or crisps that are'nt available anymore"
Wheels was one of the answers but not sure were it came

i remember me and mum would walk down to local Spar on a sunday night and i always had a bag of Wheels it was great

Nick2 - the actual crisps did look a bit like that, but the packaging was nothing like that. They used to seel them at school at break in crisp packet sized bags - I think they might have had re writing on - but my memory is not reliable from so long ago. I do remember they used to fizz on your tongue!

I'm sure there was a squirrel on the packet, though I could have completely made that up.

Edit : I'm not mad : http://www.taquitos.net/snacks.php?snack_code=323

Yes..there was a squirrell on the packet! I used to have the plain ones ...as when i was little E-numbers in crisps made me hyporactive.
I remeber them to quite unique tasting and very hard.

I remeber them also.

Used to have the ready salter variety, and very much liked to eat the outside first to make stars.

Was in spain a coouple of weeks ago and bought some crisps that were the same shape and taste, though called something completely different, they brough back loads of childhood memories when i ate them!!

everyone keeps saying how they remember these things, but nobody has rembembered how they were onion and vinegar flavour, not salt and vinegar!
