Come and do karate with us, if you fancy it. We're losing a few people for the summer too, so you'd be very welcome. It's a friendly club, and we generally go out for a drink every now and again too.

We are a shotokan karate club, training three evenings a week. Beginners are no problem - the best bet is to come along and watch first to see what you think, and have a word with Kev, our instructor.

We train at:
393 club, Hillsborough (just on the tram route, by the back of Morrisons) Mondays at 8pm.

Wisewood Methodist church hall, Tuesdays at 7pm.

St John's church hall, Deepcar, Wednesdays from 7pm. (This is way out of town, but is advanced grades only anyway).

You could come and trying fencing on Thursday nights with The Sheffield Fencing Club. PM me for details if you're interested.

I am in the same kind of situation. Most of my friends have now moved out of Sheffield and I'm looking to find something to do!
More suggestions please!

Quiz night up at the Crown and Glove here in Stannington, they could probably use the custom, last I heard the place was practically empty in the evenings.

It's been like that since it changed hands about 2 months ago, new Landlord's a bit of a tit, put the prices of the beer up straightaway and made the flippin' quiz too 'ard... :loopy:

A lot of the regulars have stopped going in since, myself included.
