as the previous one got closed before i got home from work and found it, i wanted to post that i too get quite annoyed with posts being deleted, threads closed and warnings from mods left right and centre................mods are supposed to be in the background and stop any fights and swearing etc, i think the ones on here are getting a tad trigger happy tbh.
just yesterday i had one deleted in the blunkett car crash thread.......all i said was HAHAHAHA.
its not offensive to grown adults, its not x rated............its showing what i feel about david blunkett, i dont like him, am i denied my right to show my anger at certain politicians?
mods please show respect for peoples free speach as well as trying to keep the board moderated.
hopefully i wont go the same way as ARGHHHHHHHHHHH for this :)
im trying to say it in a diplomatic way.

im trying to say it in a diplomatic way. Try reading the forum rules :suspect: i think more people should SHEFFIELD FORUM RULES (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1404) Each post add something of value to the thread, so don't just post "haha" for example.

so we cant do anything then?
or the mods can delete, change, ban willy nilly.......sounds rivetting.
to me HAHAHAHA was of value to the thread, its how i felt about the thread............i shouldnt need to write a shakespearean essay on it just to please the great and the mighty in mod land.
and i have been mod, operator and administrator on various forums and irc channels in the past 3 years....i do know WHEN to draw the line, i just think this forum is becoming more and more restricting in what you can say before "somebody" just wipes it off the face of the net............or worse...........mostly without even a squeak..............all i want is a bit of respect for the posters PLEASE.......just dont be as trigger happy.

Mod note: Mel, you spend a lot of time here for someone who doesn't like the site. Everyone, for the last time, if you want to complain about the moderation of the forum, use the contact us link.
Mel, you might also want to have a look at the comments on the 'Free Speech' point you raise on this (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1404) thread.
I'm closing this as there's nothing more to say on this that should be said on the public forum.
