I am trying to trace down a neightbour of my grandma's (Nelly Batty) called Dennis Pring, who had a sister called Lillian and a brother called Colin. Dennis was born in 1939 and lived on Ravencarr Road, The Manor, Sheffield. He went to school at Standhouse School in 1944. Dennis's mother Mrs Pring was my grandma's friend and neighbour. The reason for this enquiry is my mum has recently bought a book called Earning a Living, Memories of Work in and around Sheffield by Workers' Education Association. Dennis has wrote an article in the book. Anybody know of his whereabouts or used to go to school with him please get in touch.
