Just read a post on General Chit Chat where someone is about to be banned by the mods.

Their retort was "I've got IP Masking".

What is this and why would it help them?

Internet Provider - so their ISP would be masked to prevent him being located.

Frankly we have plenty of IP's logged for that user, so we aren't especially concerned.
