Hi

Could anyone reccomend a provider that offers broadband for a period of 6 months or less. Most want you to sign up for a year and this is too long for me.

Many thanks for all your replies

I have been using v21.co.uk, 1 month contracts.
Cheap - but you get what u pay for. Cant really recommend them.

Last time I looked (about 3 weeks ago) plusnet had a small print tie in of 12 months.

My mum has just joined Virgin coz she says they don't.

Plusnet usually change to be competetive - so I'd check ;)

Zen and Pipex are both on a monthly basis. Have a trip over to www.adslguide.org for some comparisons.

I use Central Point broadband - cpbb.co.uk the minimum term is 3 months, the price is reasonable (but there's a set up fee of £30 or so) and the connection has been rock solid.
