View Full Version : Kitten ate yorkshire pudding mix! Will she be ill?
My approx 20 week old kitten Zeta cottoned on yesterday how to jump onto the kitchen side courtesy of my older cat Zorro- cheers mate!
Just whipped myself up some yorky pudding mix to put toad in the hole in. I walked back into kitchen to put mixture in and Zeta was sat by the microwave licking her lips. Half the mix has gone.
Will she be ill? Little bugger. I know it's only milk, egg and flour and I suppose cats have the constitution of an ox being able to eat raw chicken, but thought I better ask!
KJ_VENOM 01-12-2008, 19:09 no she'll soon get batter :D
^ :D
She should be fine. Maybe a runny poo or at worst she may be sick but I doubt it would cause any actual illness.
no she'll soon get batter :D

jojomarmite 03-12-2008, 16:45 my kitten is crazy, was painting my nails earlier and she managed to get some polish on her paw! licked it and did not like the taste...will she be ok?!! she is crazy and wants to eat and lick everythin!!
DiamondGirl 03-12-2008, 17:21 My cats favourite dish is spag bol and garlic bread. she eats the lot. even the pasta! (not that I feed it her but if we leave some left on our plates and put it on the sides she will eat it)
Kats_Claws 04-12-2008, 10:34 My cat Gizmo likes Chicken Korma with rice, Garlic and herb dip from pizza hut, Treacle sponge and custard, and Chocolate Spread on Toast!
Didnt think that cats liked sweet tasting foods.... She's just strange!
(ps, that sounds like a have a really bad diet.... i dont eat them foods all the time!)
a new one for ours is cream scones all three of them have eaten them :(
All of the cats I have had have always had a go crazy thing for "fats" either veg oil, butter (mmm favourite) frying pan remains. I have to remember to shift everything from the sides or the cat gets it.
dynamick 04-12-2008, 18:10 Tilly decided she wanted to try human food again today - so I better add butternut squash soup to her list of foods :hihi:

But if kitten eats the pudding mix...what will you burn :o
nefertari 04-12-2008, 22:20 I was told to give my puppies batter if they had the runs so it won't hurt her although ,yes she could be a bit constipated if anything
dynamick 04-12-2008, 22:26 Well - i went to the doctors once (had a bad case of the runs) and he said I should forget about a prescription and get some bisto granules. I asked him if it'd make me better - he said he wasn't sure....but it'd thicken it up a bit ;)
:hihi:
Sorry - couldn't resist it ;)
